How does Looksmith work?
What's the difference between Looksmith and one-time generators like HeadshotPro?
Looksmith is a monthly subscription that gives you recurring tokens and keeps your reference photos in your workspace so you can generate and edit new headshots whenever you want. HeadshotPro is a one-time purchase where you upload 1-3 selfies and receive a batch of headshots in minutes to hours. This makes Looksmith better for ongoing professional updates.
How many photos do I actually get each month?
Starter ($29) gives you 60 tokens per month. Creator ($49) gives 180 tokens, and Pro ($99) gives 450 tokens. Tokens reset monthly and unused ones do not roll over; failed generations are refunded as tokens.
How long does it take to get my headshots?
Your first set is usually ready within a few minutes after subscribing. Generation speed depends on the current queue and your plan, higher tiers get priority processing.
Are the headshots good enough for LinkedIn and professional use?
Yes. Looksmith is designed specifically for professional headshots used on LinkedIn, team pages, speaker bios, and websites. Commercial use is allowed on every plan.
Do I own the photos and can I use them commercially?
You own the generated photos. Commercial use is included in every plan.
What if I don't like the results?
Refunds are not available once generation has started. For technical delivery issues we may issue account credits at our discretion. Just email [email protected] and we'll help.
How do I cancel or change my subscription?
You can cancel or manage payments anytime through the Stripe Billing Portal on your billing page.
What happens to my photos and data?
Your photos and data are kept as long as your account is active. After you delete your account we remove everything within 30 days, except where required by law.
Can I edit outfits, backgrounds, or expressions after generation?
Yes - you can swap outfits and backgrounds or give free-form editing instructions directly in the workspace. Each edit uses 1 token.
Will my photos look like me?
We use your uploaded reference photos as the direct basis for every generation and edit.
What if I need headshots for dating apps, influencer content, or holidays later?
You can already generate different styles today using custom prompts in the workspace. More themed packs (dating, lifestyle, holidays) are planned for the future.
